The Explorer 24 is a new design from the legendary hull designer Klaus Filter, known for creating hulls that are fast running and smooth to row — this boat is right on the mark. Longer and slightly narrower than our Explorer 21, the Explorer 24 is designed for speed. Higher bow and stern decks and the revolutionary WinTech Self-Bailing cockpit allow this boat to handle the rougher conditions of open water rowing. Angled saxboards give more lateral stability to help keep the boat set. An excellent choice for the rower who needs a bit of stability yet wants the performance of a racing single. Available in two construction-types and weights so you can choose how much boat you need.

Construction - Woven high temperature cured pre-preg Kevlar sandwich skin with 3mm Nomex Honeycomb core on hull and deck reinforced with unidirectional carbon fiber tape OR laminated single skin construction, with fiberglass exterior and Kevlar interior, with additional carbon fiber reinforcement on gunwales and keel. Heat cured in mold.
Features - Removable hydro-dynamic fin design is shaped for less resistance, yet superior tracking. Airfoil shaped anodized aluminum wing rigger with Euro-slot for oarlock pin. Quick release cam-lock rigger system with 3 positions and a 3-height adjustable seat.
Color - Metallic silver with WinTech accents.
